The Easiest Way to Help Bake for the Quake

So people have asked Joy what she and I are getting out of this fundraiser. I guess they were too afraid to ask the Fury ;) Well, please  allow me to clarify.

Nothing goes into our pockets, guys. In fact, Joy is baking for half a table and donating ALL of her profits. I’m covering the expenses and donating prizes from Vancouver Food Tour out of my pocket. We’re also spending several hours a day each in organizing.

So in order to keep the costs low to maximize what goes to charity, we need all the help that we can get.

Fortunately, we have a very generous and supportive community out there. Many people are asking how they can help.  Here is one very easy and practical way for you to spread the word for us.

  1. Download our flyer (Colour or Black & White)
  2. Print it out
  3. Post it up! Not on the street, silly. Bring it to your neighborhood cafe, restaurant, community centre, school, hair salon… anywhere visible. Be sure to ask for permission first.

If you put up a poster (or 3), let us know by commenting to this post so we can give you a huge hug when we see you!

A special thanks to MADRenegade for designing the adorable posters.

I’ll ask if I can put this up at my school, if allowed I’ll take pictures. :)
